Philson is increasingly specialized in casting high quality polyurethane wheels and can produce medium/large polyurethane-coated forklift wheels according to customer requirements. The 125*60 PU forklift wheel is one of its most common models, making it ideal for industrial handling.
Forklift Wheel Material
The 125*60 PU Forklift Wheel uses an aluminium core and a polyurethane coating to make full use of the abrasion resistance of the polyurethane and the light weight of the aluminium, resulting in high quality wheels that can be adapted to a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C and up to +90°C for short periods.
Characteristics
1.Strong wear resistance: Polyurethane coating is full of good wear resistance, which can extend the service life of forklift wheels and reduce the replacement frequency and cost.
2.High load capacity: Aluminum core structure is stable, combined with polyurethane coating can improve the load capacity of the wheel, suitable for a variety of working environments.
3.Good shock absorption effect: Polyurethane material has good elasticity, which can effectively reduce the vibration of forklift during operation and improve the stability and comfort of forklift.
4.Not easy to damage the ground: Compared with rubber tires, polyurethane coating has less damage to the ground, reducing the cost of ground maintenance.
5. Airless tire design: PU wheel is airless tire design, which will not affect the use of tire pressure problems and reduce maintenance work.
For metal hub cladding, Philson can utilize different types of polyurethane, up to 95 Shore Hardness A, depending on the size and intended use of the forklift. If you have forklift wheel needs, feel free to contact us.
Urethane’s superior durability, chemical resistance, customizability, and long-term cost advantages make it an ideal material for modern industrial needs. As demands for efficiency, automation, and reliability continue to rise, urethane wheels are well-positioned to become the new standard in industrial mobility.
Polyurethane AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) drive wheels are specially designed wheels that combine high-performance polyurethane tread with durable cores to ensure excellent traction, load capacity, and durability in automated material handling systems.
In the evolving landscape of urban mobility and industrial automation, the performance and reliability of monorail systems are critical. One key component driving this performance is the Vulkollan® drive wheel — a high-performance polyurethane wheel known for its exceptional mechanical properties.
How to Select Polyurethane Wheels for Electrical Forklifts
